Bradley Scott Jones, 52, of Bemidji, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020, at his place of residence in Bemidji

Bradley was born May 30, 1967, in Cass Lake MN to Fred Jones and Linda Mitchell. He grew up in Longville MN, attended school at Remer School, and graduated from Bug-O-Nay-Ge-Shig School. He also lived in Las Vegas, Washington, and St. Paul MN before moving back to Bemidji.

Bradley enjoyed being outdoors. He would always say he felt trapped being indoors. He loved watching Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee movies and called himself “The Black Cat”. Bradley loved spending time with his grandchildren. His interests included drawing, snow sculpting, huckleberry picking, and camping.

Bradley is survived by his four daughters: Belinda Mitchell of Minneapolis, Lovetta Mitchell of River Falls, Rachelle Mitchell of Cass Lake, and Jennifer Polchow of Walker; seven grandchildren; brothers Stan Jones of Onigum and Christopher “Mikey” Jones of Burnsville; sisters Christine Torres of Minneapolis and Rachel Jones of Onamia; and 21 nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents Thomas Mitchell Sr. and Lucy Mitchell; sister Evelyn Jones; aunts Margaret Blesi and Irene Mitchell; uncle Thomas Mitchell, Jr.; his nephew Dimitri Cantu and his niece Yolanda Lopez.

A traditional wake will begin on Friday, February 21, 2020, at the Leech Lake Veterans Building in Cass Lake, with Steven Jackson "Waa-maajaa'wed" officiating. The wake will continue until the service on Sunday, February 23, at 10:00am (Indian Time) ,also at the Veterans Building. Cremation services will be held on February 27; burial will be held on his birthday, May 30, at Boy Lake Cemetery.  Arrangements are being handled by Dennis Funeral Home/Midwest Cremation Association of Walker MN (DennisFuneralHome.com).
