On the afternoon of Monday, July 1, 2019, Dean Ray Reynolds Sr. “Badiiz” of Cloquet passed away at the age of 75.
Dean was born in Cloquet, MN on June 1, 1944. He retired from the Federal Aviation Administration as an electronic technician. He then worked as a maintenance supervisor at Black Bear Casino and Security Guard at the Sawyer Elderly Unit. Dean also served active duty in the US Army. He enjoyed family gatherings along with gambling and cribbage.
Dean is preceded in death by his father Eugene “Bud” Reynolds, mother Evelyn (Benjamin) Reynolds; brothers Alvin, Dave, Daryl, and Ernest Reynolds; and sisters Mary, and Karen Diver. He is survived by his daughter Vicki (Mat); sons Dean Jr. (Lynn) and Jeffrey (Tabitha) Reynolds; sisters Irma (Ralph) Stein, Darlene Diver and Molly (Terry) Whitetree; and brothers Jerry Sr., Eny (Gerry), and George (Dawn) Reynolds. He also leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A wake will begin at 5:00pm on Thursday, July 4, 2019, at the Cloquet Community Center Gymnasium (RBC Gym) in Cloquet and will continue until the service at 10:00am. Burial will follow at the Old Holy Family Cemetery in Cloquet. Arrangements are handled by Souder-Handevidt Funeral and Cremation Services of Cloquet.
