Herman Trotterchaude

Herman Trotterchaude, 66, of Detroit Lakes, MN passed away Friday, January 24, 2020 at Essential Health in Fargo, ND.
Herman was born October 3, 1953 in Cloquet, Minnesota to Mary (Thompson) and Herman Trotterchaude Sr.  As an adult, he enjoyed traveling, boating, and collecting hats.  He was a proud member of the Iron Workers Union in Duluth and St. Paul.  Following 34 years as an iron worker, he retired May 1, 2014.
Survivors are significant other, Colleen Feran; children, Jennifer Trotterchaude, Richard Trotterchaude; granddaughters, Emily Trotterchaude and Kate Barrick; sisters, Rita (Maurice) Ojibway, Renee Lees, Rhonda Trotterchaude, Renata Trotterchaude, Reva Trotterchaude, and Ross Trotterchaude (Jacob Gehling); many nieces and nephews.
Herman was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Tyler John Trotterchaude; brothers, Randy, Richard, Renard, and Rex and sister, Ranell.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at the Sawyer Community Center with a 10:00 a.m. visitation, and 11:00 a.m. service followed by a luncheon.  Interment will be in St. Mary and Joseph Cemetery.
