Mildred Isabell Noyes, 103, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2019, after living at New Perspective Senior Living for nine years. She was a resident of Cloquet, Minnesota, and prior resident of San Carlos, California. Mil was born along with her twin sister, Margaret, on September 24, 1916, in Cloquet to Henry G. and Ellen (Davidson) Gorman.
Mil lived in California for many years. She retired from Dun and Bradstreet of San Francisco. She loved the fruit trees in her yard, her puppy Hansie, and traveling with her husband especially to Hawaii. Proud of her Swedish heritage, a special joy was her visit to her mother’s homeland in Sweden. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Cloquet.
Mil was preceded in death by her husband James; parents; siblings Theodore Gorman, Violet A. Senzig, Lillian Nagorski, Elsie Montgomery, and her twin sister Margaret LeeJoice.
A spring memorial will be held with burial at the Maple Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Souder-Handevidt Funeral and Cremation Services, Cloquet.
