Nancy Joan Michaud, age 72, of North Branch, Minnesota, died Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at her home.

Nancy was born August 9, 1946, to Wilho and Aune (Heino) Ranta. Before retirement, she worked as a Chemical Dependency Counselor. Nancy is survived by her son James (Lori) and three grandchildren, Anna, John and Janelle; sister, Karen Alseth of Cloquet and brother Donald Ranta of Brookston, Minnesota.

A private memorial is planned for a later date.

Arrangements are by Souder-Handevidt Funeral & Cremation Service, Cloquet, Minnesota.
