Patrick Eugene Burbage, age 64, passed away peacefully
on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, in Cloquet, MN. Patrick
was born February 12, 1954, in St. Paul, MN, to Ernest J.
Burbage, Jr. and Yvonne Ruth Burbage. He was a 1972
graduate of Monticello HS. The second of five siblings,
Patrick, only a year separating him from his older brother,
Ernest and one of his younger brothers, Michael. The
middleman, Pat! Patrick grew up in a close family that
shared many Sundays and holidays together and was very
close with his grandparents, Ivan and Ruth Johnson, who
lived right next door. He was always in attendance to the
numerous family meals made by his beloved Grandmother
and Mother. He was an avid Boy Scout and loved
camping, His mother served as den leader a few years. He
loved going on adventures, as a teen he traveled to the
World’s Fair that was being held in New York City. He was
very fond of his youngest brother, Timothy and his little
sister, Deborah, the youngest of the five siblings. Pat was a
proud Uncle to Deborah’s son , Matthew and daughter
Emma, Emma loved her Uncle Pat and when she was
around him she always wanted to hold his hand and walk
with him. His oldest brother’s children Shannon and E.J.
loved their Uncle Pat and will always cherish their
memories of visiting him in Minnesota for family
occasions, he always was interested in what they were
doing and their latest adventures. Son, Brother, Nephew,
Uncle and friend, Patrick will be missed by all who loved
him.
He is survived by his brother Ernest James Burbage, III
(Christy), sister, Deborah Ruth Burbage, sister-in-laws
Sarah Burbage and Dawn Burbage, nephews, Matthew
Burbage, Ernest(E.J.) Burbage, IV, nieces, Shannon
Burbage and Emma Burbage, aunt and uncle, Zarida and
Richard Young and many other family and friends. Patrick
was preceded in death by his parents, brother Michael and
brother Timothy.
