Peter "Pablo" Donovan White

Peter “Pablo” Donovan White, 34, of Redby, MN, and a member of the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians, died Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at Redby.

Peter was born January 24, 1985 in Minneapolis, MN to Lisa White and William Jones, III.  He grew up in Red Lake, MN.

“Pablo” is fondly remembered as someone who always made sure his family was taken care of.  He loved children and enjoyed taking walks, getting treats and spending time with his family.  He was a hands-on individual who enjoyed cooking and doing handyman repairs around the house.  He was a soft-spoken man with a big heart – someone you could turn to and he would already be there checking up on you.

Survivors include Pablo’s children, Trent and Tearra Whitefeather; mother Lisa White; brothers: Brandon Jones, William Jones, IV, Derek White, Cruze White, Donald Clark, II, Myron Jones, Jr.; sisters: Alicia White, Sonya Jones, Britnie Clark, Morningstar Jones, Brittany Stately, Carly Clark; special niece and nephew, Tristan and Mattisen White; special aunts and uncles: Eugene White, Patsy White, Flora White, Richard White, Simon White, Sarah Limones and Rhonda Cutbank.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Jones, III; step-father, Donald Clark, I; maternal grandparents, Simon and Rose White; paternal grandparents, William Jones, II, Margaret (Dow) Jones, Tristan White, Avery Stately, Sandra Nabors, and Kevin Virgil Jones.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 10:00 AM at the Redby Community Center with a wake beginning at 5:00 p.m., Monday, January 6, 2020.  Hank Kingbird will be the spiritual leader.  Arrangements are being provided by Dennis Funeral Home (www.dennisfuneralhome.com).
