Aaron Charles May, “A-WAX”, age 36, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 in Bemidji, MN. Aaron was born on April 10, 1988 in Bemidji, MN, to John Jourdain and Marilayne May.  

Aaron grew up and attended school in Red Lake, MN. Aaron was free-spirited and enjoyed time with family and friends, especially with Ashley. He had a great sense of humor that will be missed by all. He enjoyed gaming, trips to the casino, and playing pool and darts. He loved movies and his Xbox. He loved to help others, always putting others first.

Aaron is survived by the love of his life Ashley Morrison; brother Edward May Sr; father John Jourdain; grandparents LaNae and William Pemberton; grandfather Floyd Jourdain Sr; uncle Floyd “Buck” Jourdain Jr; aunts Jolene (Sonny) Schoenborn, Lylah May, Wendy Jourdain, Sue Jourdain, Patty Jourdain and Georgianna Jourdain.

He was preceded in death by his mother Marilayne May; sister Nia May; grandmother Elaine Jourdain; grandfather David May; great-grandmothers Joyce Barrett and Margaret “Blush” May; great-grandfathers Archie Barrett and Phillip May Sr; aunt Willa Jourdain and great aunt Georgia May.

A wake will begin for Aaron at 12 PM on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at the New Red Lake Center and will continue until the service at 1 PM on Monday, November 25, 2024 with Officiant Floyd “Buck” Jourdain. Active Pallbearers will be Rowdy May, Dave May, Del Lasley, Mike May, Collins Lussier and Courtney Whitefeather. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mick May, Devin May, Charlie May, Vince Cobenais and Avery White. A private burial will be held at a later date.  Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Walker & Hackensack, MN.
