Aaron Bruce Sayers, age 74, began his journey to the spirit world on November 24, 2025 in Maplewood, MN.
Aaron was born on December 14, 1950 to Eugene and Mary Sayers Sr in Red Lake, MN. Aaron worked daily labor in Minneapolis from 1989 to 1995 and then he worked as a janitor at Little Earth in Minneapolis from 1995 to 1997. He was a fisherman and liked Keno, watching the Vikings, Twins and Wheel of Fortune with sister, Lorraine.
Aaron is preceded in death by his parents, Mary J. Sayers and Eugene J. Sayers Sr; sisters: Gloria Skinaway, Leslie Buffalo, Lorraine Sayers and Cheryl Taylor; brothers: Eugene Sayers Jr, Kirby Sayers and Henry Sayers; and daughters: Billie Sayers and Jennifer Sayers
He is survived by his grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A wake will begin at 1 PM on Friday, November 28, 2025 at the New Red Lake Center and will continue until the service at 1 PM on Saturday, November 29, 2025 with Father Tom Niehaus. Active Pallbearers will be Kenneth Skinaway, Tristan Lawrence, Phil Sayers, Tyler Skinaway, Henry Sayers Jr, Robert Cloud Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Sheldon Hill, Jack Neadeau, Joyce Roy, Mully Brown, Sissy Clark, Elizabeth Skinaway, Leo Desjarlait, Diane Howard, Shelly Little and Grandchildren. Burial will be at St Mary’s Cemetery in Red Lake, MN. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service, serving Northern Minnesota.
