Adrian Brown

Adrian Fredrick Brown, age 49, of Redby, MN, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021.

Adrian was born on October 20, 1971 in Red Lake, MN to Charlene Brown and Herman Downwind. He was raised by his mother and step-father, Delwyn “Dosh” Spears.  Adrian enjoyed working outdoors and most recently had been working in construction. 

Adrian was known for his big heart and willingness to help people out whenever and however he could.  He had a great sense of humor, loved to tease and was quick to laugh. He was a movie buff and knew every actors name.  Above all, he loved family and looked forward to spending time with his grandchildren.

He will be lovingly remembered by his life partner of 30 years, Karen Anderson, his children:  Darien (Deven Eagletail) Anderson, Brandon Anderson, Kyra (Amealieano Lussier) Anderson; 10 grandchildren:  Dey’Trell, Da’Vaughn, Darien Jr., Kassidy, Kaydence, Aeriel, Kaia, Elias, Kyauna and Ray Anna; siblings: Desmond Brown, Dustin Brown, Delwyn Brown, Ashley (Andrew) Brown, Tasha (Shane) Brown, Evon (Joseph) Brown, Kelsi Brown, Dave Downwind and Stacey Downwind; his father, Herman Downwind; step-father, Delwyn “Dosh” Spears; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Adrian was preceded in death by his mother, Charlene Brown; siblings:  Alana Brown and Robert Lussier; granddaughter, Khloe; his aunt, Winefred Juarez; and uncles:  Edward Pat Brown and Clarence “Bunny” Brown.

The wake will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the Redby Community Center in Redby and continue until the service at Noon on Friday, July 23, 2021 with Tim Brown officiating.  Casketbearers will be: Delwin Brown, Dustin Brown, Daniel Barrett, Amealieano Lussier, Darien Anderson, Brandon Anderson, Todd Anderson and Chad Prentice.  Honorary casketbearers will be: Karen Anderson, Kyra Anderson, LeAnn Brown-Cobenais, Tanya Brown, Vincent Brown, Al Pemberton, Bob Smith, Virgil Brown, Melvin Feather III, Melanie Brown, Sonny Neadeau, Tyler Brown, Adrian’s sisters and grandchildren.  Burial will be at the Episcopal Cemetery in Redby.  Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Walker (www.whisperingpinesnorth.com).
