Alana Lee Anderson

Alana Lee Anderson, age 45, began her journey to the spirit world on Monday, December 16, 2024 in Bemidji, MN.

Alana was born on August 6, 1979 to David Anderson Sr and Phyllis Smith in Red Lake, MN. She worked as a cashier at the Thief River Falls Casino and later as a Para at the Red Lake School.  She loved coloring and drawing and socializing with her Park Place family.

Alana leaves behind to cherish her memory mother: Phyllis Smith; father: David Anderson Sr; brother: David (Rachel) Anderson; sisters: Lowanna Anderson and Spring (Jason) Cane; three grandchildren: Lenny Hardy, Ivy Hardy and Demarcus Raisch; and nieces: Hailey, Kiara, Madison and TaShauna Dow.

She is preceded in death by sons: Gerald Raisch Jr and Cyrus White; grandparents: Jack and Lucille Kingbird; uncles: Harold Kingbird Sr, Gerald Kingbird, Bradley Johnson, Edmund Kingbird Sr and Ronald Kingbird; aunt: Donna Lewis; and cousins: Lucynda Caldwell, Stephanie Caldwell, Lorrette Caldwell, Dewayne Lewis, Leo Kingbird, Darrell Kingbird Jr, Amanda Kingbird and Ronnie Spears; and special friend Michael Sherman.

A wake for Alana will begin at 1 PM on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at the Ponemah Boys and Girls Club and will continue until the service at 10 AM on Friday, December 20, 2024 with Spiritual Leader Mike Needham. Active Pallbearers will be Eric Whitefeather, Seneca Whitefeather, Randall White, Mickey French, William Kingbird, David Anderson and Carlos Mendoza. Honorary Pallbearers will be Darrell Kingbird, Carter Dow, Park Place Staff and Tenants, Stanley Jones, and all family, cousins and friends. Burial will be at the Family Burial Grounds.
