Alex Golden

Alex Golden, age 22, began his journey to the spirit world on Sunday, August 3, 2025 in Red Lake, MN.

Alex was born on August 15, 2002 to Richard Golden and Edwina (Fajardo) Golden in Bemidji, MN. He attended school in Red Lake and worked at the casino and fisheries. He liked listening to music and joking around.  He spent time helping out his grandma, whom he was very close to, at her home.  He cared a lot about his family and friends and loved spending time with them.

Alex is survived by his Mother: Edwina Golden; Father: Richard Golden Sr; Brothers: Richard (Erin) Golden, Timothy Golden and Steven Golden; Sisters: Selena Golden (Alan), Chasity Fajardo, Victoria Fajardo (Helen) and Joyce Golden; nieces and nephews: Jasmine, Shelby, Monica, Maxon Sistad; Richard III, Tristan, Kaylani, Timothy Jr, Sierra, Mason, Jaiden Golden and Amiarah Kingbird.

He is preceded in death by his Grandparents: Joyce and Harry Golden Sr; sister: Heather Golden; brother: Marcus Golden; and two aunts: Monica Angrimson and Louise Schmidt.

A traditional wake will begin at 2 PM on Friday, August 8, 2025, at the Redby Community Center and continue until the service at 10 AM on Saturday, August 9, 2025, with Mike Needham as spiritual leader. Active Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be Victoria Fajardo, Joyce Golden and Selena Golden.
