Allen Gene Bloom, Sr, age 54, began his journey to the spirit world on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 in Park Rapids, MN with family by his side.
Allen was born on March 19, 1970, in Detroit Lakes, MN to Margaret Bloom and Walter Butcher. Allen had a wandering spirit, travelling throughout Minnesota, living in Pine Point, Minneapolis and Red Lake over the years. He enjoyed working on cars, playing Bingo and trying his luck on the slots. He was most at peace when riding his motorcycle with his club brothers and visiting family, friends and elders. He will be remembered as a caring man who was always willing to help and went above and beyond for the people he loved.
He is lovingly remembered by his children: Allen Bloom, Jr., Andrew “Tre” (Elaina) Bloom, Matthew J. Schardin, Damion Profitt, Devin Profitt, Domanick Profitt; siblings: Michelle Bloom, Betty Gunderson, Angela (Chris) Chavez, Sigwant Butcher, Angel Butcher, Latoya Auginaush, David (Shawna) Eischens, Brian (Blair) Bloom, Eric (Rochelle) Eischens; Stash Hanks; 18 grandchildren; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Those greeting him in the spirit world are: his parents; grandparents; sisters: Tammara Eischens, Devonne Eischens; special uncle, Alvin “Spoody” Bloom, Jr.; as well as numerous other relatives.
A traditional wake will begin at 11AM on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at the New Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake and continue until the service on Friday, January 24, 2025. Active pallbearers will be: Kingston Bloom, Andrew “Tre” Bloom, Allen Bloom, Jr., Matthew Schardin, Brian Bloom, David Eischens, Eric Eischens, Damion Profitt, Domanick Profitt. Honorary pallbearers will be: John Dickenson, Debwe Motorcycle Club and his nieces and nephews. Burial will be at St. Marys Cemetery in Red Lake. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Walker & Hackensack, MN.
