Alyassa Bedeau

Alyassa Marie Bedeau, age 26, of Red Lake, MN, started her journey on Sunday, August 7, 2022, in Red Lake.

Alyassa was born in Bemidji, MN, on May 11, 1996, to Barbara Bedeau and Antonio Valdes of St. Paul, MN.  She attended St. Mary’s Mission School Voyageurs Expeditionary High School and Red Lake High School. She worked at Seven Clans Casino in Red Lake and Thief River Falls, Red Lake Trading Post and Menards.  Alyassa enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved shopping, going to concerts and fairs. Her hobbies were beading, social media, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.  She also liked decorating her room, doing arts and crafts and loved scratch off tickets.

She will be lovingly remembered by her parents: Barb Bedeau and Antonio Valdes; brothers: Brandon and Robert Bedeau, Daniel Valdes, Scott Schwartz and Jonathan Schwartz; sisters: Jade Bedeau, Milagro and Marilyn Valdes; special aunt, Gloria Bedeau; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Melvin and Margaret Bedeau and her uncle, Michael Bedeau.

The wake will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at the Little Rock Center and continue until the service at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, August 15, 2022 with Father John Christianson officiating. Active casketbearers will be: Dom Lussier, Todd Bedeau, Steve Bedeau, Sr., Joe Beaulieu, Edward Perkins, Jr., Donald Fairbanks and alternates: Robert Bedeau and Frank Beaulieu. Honorary casketbearers will be: Lenette Sumner, Brianna Sumner, Brianna May, Brandi Martin, Adaya Bedeau-Cobenais, Melani Bedeau, Connie Bedeau, Claire Waybenais, Jerlyn Wind, and Kristina Martin.
