Alyssa Rose Iceman

Alyssa Rose Iceman (Red Standing Cloud Woman) was born on February 3, 1998, in Bemidji, MN. She made her journey home on January 19, 2026 in Bemidji, MN, surrounded by those who loved her.

Alyssa was born to DeWayne Iceman and Linda Johns. She attended schools in Ponemah and Bemidji. Alyssa enjoyed art and music and she loved taking pictures. She recently began learning to tattoo. She loved being around family and friends and spending time with her little sister, Lennox, and her niece, Josephina. One of her greatest joys was being “The Aunty.”

Alyssa is survived by her father, DeWayne Iceman; biological mother: Linda K. Johns; her mother: Abigayle Johnson; her siblings: LaResha (Andrew) Johns, Amanda (Naygahj) Iceman, Cyras Whitefeather, Celaina (Paul) Whitefeather and Lennox Johnson; special sister: Kiylea Iceman; nieces: Izzabella, Cassandra, Catalaya, Jerricka, Josephina, Aeryn, Amelie and Novella; nephews: Tyler, Karson, Naygahj Jr, Chazz, Ryan, Jamison, Xavian and Zylus; grandparents: Phyllis Iceman and Edward Dow; aunts: Kristy, Pam and Shari Iceman, Georgia White, Jocelyn Dow and Tilly DeLaCruz; uncles: Kelly Iceman Sr and Tony Johns; adopted siblings: Kait, Dina, Nate, Danial and Mearah.

Those she reunites with are her brother: Joseph Iceman; special sister: Leah Fairbanks; uncles: Elroy and Sheldon Iceman, Barry and Eric Dow; special aunt: Jeani Iceman; special friend: Codi Brown and his grandparents; and cousins: Jeanna Gullickson and Keyaylah White.

A wake will begin at 12 PM on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at the Ponemah Boys & Girls Club and will continue until the service at 10 AM on Monday, January 26, 2026 with Spiritual Leader Allen Hardy. Active Pallbearers will be Kelly Iceman Jr, AJ Rosebear, Dalton Defoe, Travis Martin, Kevin Martin Sr, Kevin Martin Jr, Gary Martin Sr, Andrew Cloud, Daniel Jones, Nate Jackson. Alternates: Travis Dow and Carter Dow.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Paula Iceman, Pam Iceman, Kristy Iceman, Shari Iceman, Lavonne Hunt, Jasmine Iceman, Ezryel Iceman, Kiylea Iceman. Burial will be at the Iceman Family Burial Grounds in Ponemah, MN.  Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service, serving Northern Minnesota.
