Andrea Ann (Cloud) Stepaniak, age 61, of Redby, MN, began her journey on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Sanford Fargo Hospital.

Andrea was born to Mary Jane and Andrew Cloud in Red Lake, MN on April 22, 1962. Andrea graduated from Red Lake High School and later went on to attend Northwest Technical College in Bemidji. She attained her CNA and TMA license and worked for Jourdain-Perpich Extended Care in a career that spanned 21 years. She loved working with and being among elders and was very compassionate. She was married to Sonny Stepaniak on October 29, 2010. They made their home in Redby along with her niece, Clarissa Smith. Andrea enjoyed spending time with her three children, Keith, Kimberly and Kristofor, grandchildren and family. Her granddaughter, Dezarae Alexandrea, was her namesake. She was always with her niece, Clarissa. Andrea liked going to the casinos and her favorite hobby was collecting many different things.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Keith Cloud Sr of Redby, Kimberly Cloud of Bemidji, Kristofor (Tasha) Cloud of Cloquet; sisters: Gloria (Robert) Kingbird of Redby, Della (Jim) Jones of Cass Lake, June (Darin) Wilber of Keshena, WI, Marilyn Cloud of Anoka; brothers: Lance (Sharon) Cloud of Bemidji, Edward Cloud of Redby, Lars (Nancy) Cloud of Thief River Falls; 11 grandchildren: Keith Cloud Jr, Kasey Cloud, Kahliyas Cloud, Kristin Cloud, Jesse Roberts, Dezarae Sayers, Ceigh Cloud, Keith Head Jr, Kiara Cloud, Kristofor Cloud Jr, Keean Cloud; two great-grandchildren: Gunnar and Caine Roberts; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Those greeting her in the spirit world are: her parents: Mary Jane and Andrew Cloud; grandmother, Evelyn RedEagle; grandfather, Roy Cloud; siblings: Terry Cloud I, Terry Cloud II, Benjamin Cloud, Gary Cloud, Andrew Cloud Jr; aunt, Helma Cloud; uncles: Ben RedEagle and Sam RedEagle, Wallace Cloud and James Cloud.

A traditional wake will begin at 2PM on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the Redby Community Center in Redby and continue until the service at 11AM on Monday, April 1, 2024, with Allen Hardy as Spirtual Leader. Active pallbearers will be: Arthur Jones, Andy Jones, Decotah Cloud, Jason Wind, Dillon Wilber, Kyle Cloud and Kristofor Cloud Jr. and alternates: Robert Cloud, Corey Stately, Jeremy Cloud, Kristofor Cloud Sr. Honorary pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will be at the Cloud Family Burial Grounds in Redby. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Walker & Hackensack, MN.
