Ann Lorraine Friedman

Ann Lorraine Friedman, 85, passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2020, at New Perspective Senior Living in Cloquet, Minnesota.  Ann was born June 15, 1934, in Cloquet, Minnesota, to George and Emma (Reed) Diver.  She lived her entire life in the Cloquet area, attending school there and working and raising her family. Ann worked for many years as a house cleaner for Mash-Ka-Wisen and the Fond du Lac Band of Ojibwe. She was a loving mother to her two children, Deborah and Michael.

Ann had lots of friends and was known to everyone. She was a people person, and everywhere she went, she knew someone.  Ann also loved to go to bingo and to bowl. She traveled a lot to tournaments and many trophies to show for her bowling talent. 

Ann will be forever missed by her children and several grandchildren, her brother Raymond and sister Mary Jane, and many nieces and nephews, and countless friends.  She was predeceased by her parents, two sisters Dorothy and Lucille, and three brothers Leonard, Wilfred, and Ronald.

Private family services will be held in the near future with a Celebration of Life planned for later this summer for all her family and friends.  Arrangements are being handled by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service serving northern Minnesota.
