Belinda A. White

Belinda A. White, age 46, began her journey to the spirit world on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Sanford Medical Center in Bemidji, MN.

Belinda was born on May 29, 1978, in Minneapolis, MN to Janice Oakgrove and Bruce White. She grew up in the Battle River area and attended school in Flandreau, SD. She met the love of her life, David Mountain, in Red Lake. They moved to Bemidji in 2008 and raised their children there.

Belinda loved the outdoors, taking nature walks and exercising outside when possible.  She enjoyed long rides in the truck and trying her luck at the casino. She will be lovingly remembered for her great sense of humor and always making jokes. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

She is survived by her life partner, David Mountain; children: Mi-Kah Mountain, Travis Mountain, Tamara (Robert) Smith and Erica Mountain; parents: Janice Oakgrove and Bruce White; grandchildren: Aaron Mountain and Aaliyah Smith; siblings: Brent White, Dorothy Smith, Lena Oakgrove, Lori Smith, Dena White; as well as other relatives and friends.

Those greeting her in the the spirit world are her grandparents and a brother.

A traditional wake will begin at 2PM on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at the Redby Community Center in Redby and continue until the service at 10AM on Monday, December 2, 2024 with Zac Earley, Anita Gibbs and Dave Manuel as spiritual leaders. Active pallbearers will be: David Mountain, Mi-Kah Mountain, Brent White, Charles Oakgrove, Kelton White, Robert Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be all Belinda’s family and friends in attendance. Burial will be Fox Point Cemetery. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service.
