Brandon Lee “Butch” “Bdon” Johnson, Bagonegiizhig "Hole In The Sky", Eagle Clan,  passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, in Red Lake, MN at the age of 36.

Brandon was born on October 26, 1986, along with his twin brother, Bryan, in Minneapolis, MN to Mary Beth Jourdain and Richard Johnson. Brandon was a social guy who loved hanging out with family and friends. He was witty, quick to laugh and fun to be around. When he wasn’t working as a chef, he enjoyed listening to all kinds of music, watching sports and scrolling through social media. Above all, he loved his daughter, Aunah, who was his pride and joy.

He will be lovingly remembered by his parents: Mary Beth Jourdain and Richard Johnson; daughter, Aunah Johnson; grandmother, Audrey Lussier; siblings: Dustin, Bryan and Brittani Johnson, Loni Hardy, Tanya Fisher; the Fisher family; aunts and uncles: Donna, Eugene, Jr. “Sonny”, Daniel, Vicki and Chele Johnson,  Paula Jourdain, Joe, Dave, Tim, and Laura Lajuenesse; special nephew, Zander and special daughter, Bella; as well as numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents: Roger “Rod” Jourdain, Eugene and Betty Johnson; step-brother, Edward Fisher; aunts and uncles: Lulu Johnson, Gail Mills, Mitch and Stuart Johnson, Randy and Michael Jourdain.

The wake will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at the New Red Lake Center in Red Lake and continue until the service at Noon on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. Burial will be at the Episcopal Cemetery in Red Lake. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Walker & Hackensack, MN.
