Brian Whitebird-Bullhead, age 56, began his journey to the spirit world on Monday, August 4, 2025 in Minneapolis, MN.
Brian was born on December 8, 1968 to Percy Whitebird and Edna Rodewald in Duluth, MN. Brian liked to make jokes of any situation; always had people laughing. He will be remembered for his comical personality. He left his family with memories of laughter when thinking about him. He loved animals, especially dogs. He liked to watch movies, playing cards and cribbage, drawing and hanging out with family and friends. He was a free spirit – always on the go.
Brian is survived by brother: Edwin Bullhead Sr; sisters: Charlotte Bullhead, Cheryl Rodewald and Cindy Rodey; long-time friend: Liz Roy; brother-in-law: Brian Northbird; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by mother: Edna (Bullhead) Rodewald; fathers: Percy Whitebird and Gerald Rodewald; son: Damion Whitehead-Bullhead; grandparents: Edward and Ethal (Spears) Bullhead; sister: Ruby Lightfeather; nephews: Edwin Bullhead Jr and Andrew Battees; cousins: Patty Bullhead, Donald Bullhead and Justin Bullhead; nephew: Robert Lightfeather; niece: Tina Mae Rodey; aunts: Rachel Hunter and Rose Bebo; and uncles: Floyd Bullhead, Leroy Bullhead and Melvin Bullhead.
A wake will begin at 12 PM on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at the Ponemah Boys & Girls Club and will continue until the service at 10 AM on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 with Spiritual Leader Allen Hardy. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will be at the Family Burial Grounds in Ponemah, MN. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Northern Minnesota.
