Calvin Doise Little

Calvin Doise Little, age 36, began his journey to the spirit world on Friday, May 9, 2025 in St Cloud, MN.

Calvin was born on March 1, 1989, to Darma (Lussier) and Mark Little in Bemidji, MN. He lived most of his adult life in Minneapolis, MN. He enjoyed being with family and friends. He loved cooking and being outdoors. He obtained his GED when he was 16 and his Culinary Arts Certificate in 2013 when he was 24.

Calvin will be lovingly remembered by his children: Victor White, Calvin Little Jr and Scarlet Little; step-children whom he helped raise: Aaliyah and Antonio Deserly; foster children: Douglas, Randel, Kendra and Amara White; brother: Kyle Little; grandmother: Adelma (James) Oakgrove; aunts: Lisa Sayers, Cheryl Oakgrove, Nicole (Donald) Brun and Shelly Little; uncles: Barry Oakgrove Sr and Jaye Little.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Darma and Mark Little; grandparents: John and Elaine Little; grandfather: Bruce Sayers; brother: Matthew Little; daughter: Calliet Little; uncles: Niles and Des Little; and other family and friends.

A wake will begin at 12 PM on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at the Redby Community Center in Redby, MN, and continue until the service at 11 AM on Thursday, May 15, 2025 with Pastor Tom Pollock. Active Pallbearers will be Deigo Little, Brayon Little, Dallas Little, Victor White, Son Head, Frank Brun, Isiah Oakgrove and Kyle Garrigan Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Andrew Oakgrove, Jason King, Clayton “Spud” Cook, Ricki Smith, Anna Oakgrove, Leichelle Oakgrove, Jessica White, Elisha Little, Sydney Head, Misty Oakgrove, Vanessa Cobenais, Leah Neadeau, Calvin and Scarlet Little.  Burial will be at St Mary’s Cemetery in Red Lake, MN. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Services of Walker & Hackensack, MN.
