Carol June Barrett

Carol June Barrett, Bullhead Clan “Awaazisii”, journeyed to the spirit world on May 9, 2025. She was born on November 2, 1947 to the late Percy and Susan Spears Sr.

Carol is survived by her husband: Myron “Johnnyboy” Barrett; son: Jay (Lisa) Barrett; daughter: Tessie Barrett; grandsons: Bradley Barrett, Cedric “Slim” Barrett, James Johnson, Destin Storm Barrett, Bear Barrett, Treyson Barrett and Daunte “Biibii” Barrett; granddaughters: Sophie and Khloe “Koko” Barrett; siblings: Percy (Gwen) Spears Jr, Gary (Shirley) Spears Sr, Donna Taylor and Diane Spears; adopted children: Megan, Kristen and Erica Hart, Margery Hawk, April Barrett, Shelda Tom, Lorraine GoodNature and C.L. GoodNature.

Greeting her are her parents; siblings: Calvin Spears Sr and Angeline Fastwolf; grandson: Michael Kingbird; granddaughter: Stormie Graves; and nieces and nephews.

A wake will begin at 1 PM on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at the Ponemah Boys & Girls Club in Ponemah, MN, and will continue until the service at 10 AM on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. Active Pallbearers will be grandsons. Alternates will be nephews. Honorary Pallbearers will be friends and family, Lodge family, K-N Mustang Family, all her children and grandchildren she gained and loved as her own.  Burial will be at the Spears Family Burial Grounds in Ponemah, MN.  Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Walker & Hackensack, MN.
