Carol White Obituary

Carol Lynn White, age 76, of Duluth, MN, formerly of Ponemah, MN passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at the Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine, MN.

Carol was born on July 2, 1944 in Red Lake, Minnesota to Joseph Lussier and Myrtle Sigana. She lived with her family and went to school in Ponemah, MN. She was married to Ralph White and they were blessed with six children: Peggy, Roy, Arnold, Reginald, Quentin, Jerry as well as a special grandson, Roy. Later in life, Carol moved to Duluth, MN to be closer to her son, Arnie and his family.

Carol enjoyed playing games, especially Scrabble and working on puzzle books. She was an excellent cook who was well known for her fry bread. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Peggy (Allen) Kingbird, Arnie (Cheryl) White, Reggie (Tammy) White, Quentin (Michelle) White and Jerry White; 22 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; siblings: Audie Lussier, Laurie Lussier and Greg Lussier; Esther Spears, Leonard Cloud, Ralph Cloud and Russell Cloud, all of whom she considered as her own siblings; as well as other relatives and friends.

Carol was preceded death by her husband, Ralph; her parents; her son, Roy; siblings: Jeff Lussier and Bertram Lussier; grandson, Blaine White and her daughter-in-law, Cheryl Strong.

The Wake will begin at 3:00pm on Sunday, August 30, 2020 and continue until the time of the service at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 1, 2020. The Spiritual Leader will be Allen Hardy. Casketbearers will be: Roy White Jr., Blaine White Jr., Darren Strong, Ralph White, Westin White and Jerry White Jr.. Alternate casketbearers will be Vincent White, Wesley White and Keyloh White. Honorary casketbearers will be: Cassidy White, Tia White, Celeste White, Jessica Derby, Dionne Strong, Leticia White, Sylvia White, Julia White, Jordona White, Shaniah White and Chloe Hamilton. Interment will be at the White Family Burial Grounds in Ponemah.
