Chele Anne White

Chele Anne White, age 37, passed away at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Chele was born to Raymond White and Irene McGraw in Bemidji, MN, on August 20, 1987.

Chele lived in Red Lake, MN, most of her life. She attended Red Lake High School before obtaining her GED. In her spare time, she loved dressing up and putting on make-up, going to the casino and listening to music. Chele loved being outdoors, playing softball, going on walks, riding her bike and taking her children to the park. She was a vibrant soul, who loved making jokes and making others laugh. Even when life dealt her some crappy cards, Chele stayed positive and found a way to laugh about it. Chele missed her father Raymond immensely and the family has comfort knowing they are now reunited.

Chele is survived by her spouse: Daniel Brun; her mother: Irene McGraw; 5 children: Cambria Graves, Delaynie Brun, Rylan, Charlize and Denali White; siblings: Cory (Darlyne) Desjarlait, Patricia, Mary and Charlotte White, Kristie Desjarlait, Jarod White, Brian (LaKeisha) White and Justice (Summer) Desjarlait; uncles: Bill (Sharon) McGraw, John (Muriel) McGraw, Vernon McGraw, Anthony White and Greg Johnson; aunts: Jane Benais, Tracy Slade, Shereese Day, Kari and Randi Jo White; Special aunt: Bonnie McGraw; special sisters: Jenet Rosebear, Inez Sigana and Marissa White; and special friend: Jason Graves; nieces and nephews: Shaylyne, Darshawn, Skylah, Brenden, Lee’Arah, Chucky, Kyleigh’Auna, Brian Jr, Xavier, Hazel, Havery, Haven, Bryar, Meelo and Josiah.

She is preceded in death by her father: Raymond White; maternal grandparents: Allen and Marian McGraw; paternal grandparents: Charles and Patricia White; uncles: Joel, Michael, Darren, Robert and Lee White; and cousins: Ariana Butcher, Matthew White and Brenan Stately.

An overnight wake will begin at 11 AM on Sunday, June 22, 2025 and continue until her funeral service at 1 PM on Monday, June 23, 2025 at the New Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake, MN. Active Pallbearers for Chele will be Justin Desjarlait, Tom McGraw, Damian McGraw, Andrew Andrews, Kevin Rosebear Jr, Brenden Desjarlait, Tobias Wind and Wayne Lussier Jr.  Alternates will be Johnny McGraw, Burt Wind and Frank Wind. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kathy Brun, Inez Sigana, Jenet Rosebear, Billie Jean King, LaKeisha Stately, Hilary Stately, Sierrajen Essert, Chele Johnson, Tracy Kingbird, Arn Chaboyea, Kari White, Randi Jo White, Karen Needham, Kim & Gerald Kingbird, Rayjean French, Marissa White, Lorena Sumner, Buffy Barrett, Rowdy May, Avery White and Cyrus King.
