Cheryl A. Wachutka

Cheryl "Shari" Wachutka, age 62, of Laporte, MN, formerly of Rosemount, MN, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. Shari was born on April 9, 1961, in Rush City, MN to Wayne and Gladys (Norberg) Corrier.

After graduating from St. Francis High School she went on to attend college. She was married to Blair Wachutka on August 25, 1984 and they were blessed with two children, Adam and Shelby. They made their home in Rosemount, MN for many years before retiring to Laporte, MN.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Blair; children: Adam (Katie) Wachutka and grandchild Hannah and Shelby (Prudencio) Corona and grandchildren McKale and PJ; sisters: Denise Corrier, Di (Daryl) Mayer, Stacey (Mike) Peterson; father-in-law, Arthur Wachutka; brothers-in-law: Bruce Wachutka, Ed (Jane) Wachutka, Al (Missy) Wachutka; 14 nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Shari was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Gladys Corrier; granddaughter, Hailey; brother, Randy Corrier; and mother-in-law, Sarah Wachutka.

The family expresses sincere appreciation to the ALS Foundation.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
