Darma Lussier Little, age 57, began her journey to the spirit world on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, in St. Paul, MN.
Darma was born to Adelma Lussier and Bruce Sayers on September 18, 1966. As a little girl, she was raised by her maternal grandparents, Edward and Anna Lussier, who enjoyed having her reside with them. She attended school in Minneapolis, Solway and Red Lake. She married the love of her life, Mark Little, and together they had four children together: Shanoah, Kyle, Calvin and Matthew Little.
She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Adelma (James) Oakgrove; brother, Barry Oakgrove; sisters: Lisa Sayers, Cheryl Oakgrove, Nicole (Donald) Brun; children Shanoah, Kyle, and Calvin Little; several grandchildren; aunts: Edwina Lasneski, Darlene Donnell, Sherrlene Roberts; uncles: Dwight and Fabian Sayers; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Darma was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Little; husband, Mark Little; grandparents: Edward and Anna Lussier, Matthew and Ethel Sayers; father, Bruce Sayers; other parents: John and Elaine Little; granddaughter, Callie Little as well as several other relatives.
The wake will begin at Noon on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at the Redby Community Center in Redby and continue until the service at 1PM on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, with Father George Ross officiating. Active pallbearers will be: Kyle Little, Calvin Little, Barry Oakgrove Sr. Barry Oakgrove Jr., Frank Brun, Shawn Oakgrove, Victor White and Rodney Lussier. Honorary pallbearers will be: Shayna Roberts, Crystal Cobenais, Desi Head, Mary Head, Vonnie Roberts, Raynelle Roberts, Brenda Lussier, Leichelle Oakgrove, Anna Oakgrove, Leah Neadeau, Jessica White, Connie Defoe, Patricia Yahola, Michelle Yahola, Hanna Lieder. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Red Lake. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Walker & Hackensack, MN.
