David Paddy

David Paddy, age 53, died on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

David was born on September 15, 1971 to Raymond and Marion Paddy in Chicago, IL. He graduated from Lincoln Tech as a Certified Mechanic. He was always helping others, especially if they had car trouble. David had a great sense of humor and was a good cook – famous for his fry bread! He enjoyed playing in poker tournaments and visiting casinos. He was a loyal Chicago Cubs, Bears and Bulls fan. He will be greatly missed by many family and friends.

David is survived by his daughter: Alaina Paddy; sisters: Sharon and Roxanne Paddy; and brothers: Darrell and Dean Paddy.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister: Ramona; and many other family and friends.

Wake will begin at 8:30 AM on Friday, April 25, 2025 at the Old Little Rock Community Center in Red Lake, MN, and continue until the service at 11 AM with Father Tom Niehaus officiating. Active Pallbearers will be Darrell Paddy, Dean Paddy, Emilio Mendoza, Michael Hayes, Carlos Mendoza, Kacen Mendoza, Rob Fier Jr and Brandon Sayers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Derek Paddy, Francisca Mendoza, Bianca Mendoza, Mandee Hayes, Raven Fier, Melisa Hayes, Ria Paddy, Lorena Paddy and Kwa Starr. Burial will be at St Mary’s Cemetery.  Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Walker & Hackensack, MN.
