Dean Swioklo Obituary

Dean E. Swioklo, age 84, of Hackensack, MN, formerly of St. Paul, MN, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at the Pine River Good Samaritan Center in Pine River, MN.

Dean was born on July 10, 1937 in St. Paul, MN, to Adam and Agnes (Schriber) Swioklo. After high school Dean enlisted in the United States Army and served his country until his honorable discharge on July 29, 1957. He made his home in St. Paul and worked for the railroad, Union Depot. After that he worked for Batesville Casket Company from which he eventually retired. After retirement, Dean moved to Northern Minnesota and settled near Hackensack. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing whenever possible. He will be missed by family and friends.

A memorial service will be held for Dean at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at the Longville Bible Chapel in Longville, MN. Arrangements were provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service (whisperingpinesnorth.com).
