Deborah Cynthia Maxwell-Hobson, age 60, of Redby, MN, passed away at Red Lake IHS on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.
Deborah was born in Red Lake, MN to Doris Colonahaski and Daniel Hobson on July 11, 1963. She enjoyed scrolling through Facebook and playing games on her phone. She looked forward to trips to the casino and loved facetiming her children and grandchildren. She liked watching mystery and true crime shows and The Price Is Right. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Those left behind to cherish Deborah’s memory are her husband, Arnold Maxwell Sr.; daughters: Cheryl Maxwell, Dana (Henry) Maxwell, Danielle (William) Maxwell, Michelle (Stanley) Maxwell and all her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; son, Arnold Maxwell Jr., daughter, Merissa Maxwell.
The wake will begin at Noon on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the New Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake and continue until the service at 11AM on Monday, January 8, 2024, with Pastor Tom Pollock officiating. Active pallbearers will be: William Kingbird, James Smith Jr., Henry Grayhawk, Joseph “Buddy” Jackson, Wayne Norby, Oyate Eagletail, and alternates: Arnold Maxwell Sr., Virgil Kingbird, Stanley Donnell, Vernon Clark Jr. and Albert Benais. Honorary pallbearers will be: Cheryl Maxwell, Dana Maxwell, Danielle Maxwell, Bobbi Norby, Michelle Maxwell, Leslie Smith, Jaelynn Smith and all her nieces and nephews. Burial will be at the Maxwell Family Burial Grounds in Redby. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Walker & Hackensack, MN.
