Diane Marie Iten

Diane M. Iten, age 67, passed away Wednesday, February 10th, 2021 at her home in rural Remer, MN. Diane was born in Palmer Township near Clear Lake, MN on June 17th, 1953, to Delroy and Veronica (Kampa) Chmielewski. She graduated from Tech High School in St. Cloud, MN. Diane married Peter Iten in 1971 and together they raised four children. Diane spent most of her career in accounting working side-by-side with Pete. 

Diane is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings Dean Chmielewski, Denise Hansmeier, and Donna Roelike. 

Diane is survived by her loving husband of 49 years; twin sister Debbie (Glenn) Gohman; daughter Tanya (Charlie) Crawford; son Peter (Jessica) Iten Jr.; son Alan Iten; son Aaron (Miranda) Iten; nine grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other friends and family. 

Diane enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, water skiing, traveling, going on long walks with Pete and spending time with her family and friends, including concerts by her grandaughters' band 'The Little Bitty Farm Girls'. She was an avid member of The Church of God - PKG. She will be missed for her incredible kindness, determination, compassion, and commitment to her family and God. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2021, from 3:00 to 8:00pm, at Jack & Jim’s Event Center in Duelm, Minnesota.
