Donald Francis Roybal, age 63, of Bemidji, MN, entered into the spirit world on June 25, 2024 at his home.
He was born in Bemidji, MN on April 26, 1960, to Benjamin Roybal Jr. and Loretta King Pacheco. Donald enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, always willing to help out if needed. He loved to play cards, Pool, spend time with his grandchildren, going to the casino and hanging out with his friends.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents, brother Albert Roybal, sister Josephine Roybal and nieces Cornella Roybal & Cyrene Roybal.
He is survived by his special friend Lisa Sayers; children Donald Wakemup Roybal, Daniel Roybal, Valencia Roybal, Carina Roybal; step daughters Kara Head, Mariah Head, Sydney Head, Greg “Sonn” Head, Amber Sayers; grandchildren Aniyah, Adaanis, Aleena, Asha, Ayla, Trenton, Carter, Aleigha, Ariaunny, Marcel, Marcedes, Martin, Elyce, Miranda, Delariosa, Kayden, Jason, Sonnie, Sariegha, Tre, Baby 24; siblings Benjamin (Carol) Roybal III, Simon (Neoka) Roybal, John Roybal, Donald Staples Jr. ; sister in law Marie Roybal.
A traditional wake for Donald will begin on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 5:00 PM and will continue until the funeral service on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Redby Community Center, Redby, Minnesota. Spiritual Leader will Naabekwa. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Kingbird, Donald Staples, Benny Roybal, Simon Roybal, Gordy Johnson, Verlin Kingbird Sr. and all of his grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Colin Roybal, Marcel Garcia, Ben Roybal IV, River Roybal, Luis Delarosa, Elijah Dotts, Brian Stillday and Tony Wind. The burial will be in the Redby Episcopal Cemetery, Redby, MN. Arrangements are by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service, Serving northern Minnesota.
