Donald Slagle

Donald Slagle, age 86, of Longville, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. He was born on March 3, 1937 to Roy and Madge (Myers) Slagle.

Donald grew up in Longville and attended and graduated from the Longville School. In 2001, he married Grace Setran and they were lifelong residents of Longville, Minnesota. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator and did road construction and sewer and water for over 30 years. Donald enjoyed doing scale models of Heavy Equipment. He loved golfing and was a member of a Golf League for over 10 years. He was also a Fireman for 12 years. Donald was always very witty and loved to joke around. He will be missed by family and friends.

Donald is survived by his wife Grace Slagle and brother Dean (Billie Ann) Slagle of Longville, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Madge Slagle, brothers Richard, Ben, Bud and Larry Slagle; and sister Lois Roller.

Private family services will be held.
