Duane C. Nordin

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the death of Duane C. Nordin.

Duane passed away peacefully at his home in Hackensack, MN, on Nov. 14, 2024, at the age of 90.

Duane was Born on November 22, 1933, and raised in Alexandria, MN.  He was an honorable Vet, a Mason, fisherman, hunter, a Lions Club member, liked going to auctions, and so much more. Duane was also a devoted community member in Hackensack, MN, where he was a volunteer for 25+ years bringing events to the community such as the Canoe Derby and the Chainsaw Event.

Duane leaves behind his beloved partner, Lois Bjerke; he was preceded in death by his parents, brother, and his beloved dog, Babe.

At the request of Duane & Lois, there will be no funeral services. The family has requested that all donations go to his fellow Lions Club Family (108 First St. N., Hackensack, MN 56452 / (218) 675-4009.)
