Elizabeth "Betty" Jones

Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Jones, age 67, of Redby, MN, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022, in Fargo, ND surrounded by her family.

Betty was born on December 5, 1954, in Red Lake, MN to Theodore and Pauline (Jourdain) Jones.  Betty and her family made their home in Redby, MN. She was an excellent cook and made great fry bread. She liked going for a cruise and listening to music. Betty also enjoyed Bingo and trying her luck on her favorite slot machine, Pirate’s Loot. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Joel (Kaylee) Jones, Paul “Bill” Jones, Darilyn Jones; special son, Austin Jones; her special great-granddaughter, Rilegh White; siblings: Marilyn Jones, Mary (Alfred) Jones, Vicki (Gilbert) Juarez and Richard (Brenda) Jones; two special aunts: Mary Gibbs and Patricia Morgan; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents: Theodore and Pauline Jones; special aunt, Lucille Auginash; children: Paula Jones, Robin Jones, Paulette Jones, Michael Jones and Randall Jones; grandchildren: Robin, Ricky, J.R. and Iesha; siblings: Darlene Fisherman, Carolyn Jones, Annette Jones, Lori Jones, Rudine Jones, Alan Jones and Alden Jones.

The wake will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at the Redby Community Center in Redby and continue until the service at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 3, 2022 with Pastor Tom Pollock officiating. Active casketbearers will be: Shaun Cloud, Terry Jourdain, Joel Jones, Ryan Jones, Tyrell Jones, Trevor Jones, Austin Jones, Alfred Berg, Rodney Stillday, Jr. and alternates, Gordon Jones and Andrell Charnoski.  Honorary casketbearers will be: Tammi Stately, Heather Stillday, Sheree Cloud, Racine White, Delicia Eagle, Karyn Jourdain-Jones, Sharon Jones, Aaron Sayers, Lorraine Sayers, Ann Auginash, Gerry Mason, Rodney “Max” Stillday, Sr., Gary Auginash and her grandchildren.  Burial will be at the Redby Community Cemetery in Redby.
