Floris was blessed with three daughters that she adored. She was thoughtful, intelligent, and had a genuine passion for working with families and Elders. She took great pride in her college studies and was both articulate and expressive in her words.
In her youth, Floris danced in powwows and held deep respect for Ojibwe culture and traditions. Her vibrant spirit and warm personality drew many friends to her, as she was often seen smiling, laughing and having fun. Floris found joy in life’s simple pleasures, visiting and sharing laughter with friends and family, attending college, and going to the movies. She also liked watching Hunter x Hunter, cruising while listening to music, working out at the gym, and savoring her morning coffee. Above all, Floris cherished every moment spent with her daughters, who were the center of her world.
