Gary James Hanson

Gary James Hanson, age 55, began his journey to the spirit world on Friday, August 23, 2024 in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota.

Gary was born on June 18, 1969 to Kenneth Rainey and Doreen Hanson in Red Lake, Minnesota. Gary really enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Gary is survived by his sister Karen Hanson and brother Robin Hanson.

He is preceded in death by his mother Doreen Hanson; father Kenneth Rainey; brothers Robert Hanson and Marcell Rainey; and aunts Rebecca Allen and Gloria Hanson.

A wake will begin at 11 AM on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at the New Red Lake Center and continue until the service at 1 PM on Saturday, August 31, 2024 with Father George Ross. Active Pallbearers will be Robin "Fatman" (Betty) Hanson, Justin (Susan) Hanson, Kendra Hanson, Susan (Justin Hanson) and Wynonna Mountain. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ryan Bonete, Tomas Allen, Felipe Allen, Christopher Allen and Karen Bonnelle. Burial will be at a later date.
