Georgette “Georgia” J. Fay, age 73, began her journey to the spirit world on Friday, August 22, 2025 in St. Cloud, MN.
Georgia was born September 11, 1951 in Ponsford, Minnesota. She graduated from Fennimore Technical College in Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse and proceeded her career as an RN charge nurse at Mercy Hospital Dubuque and worked for the county overseeing tri-state health care facilities. When she retired, she had a passion for gardening and spending time with friends and family. She appreciated the sunlight more than her garden and spent hours soaking up daylight and the adventures that came with it. She cherished her family and enjoyed Church services at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Bemidji and surrounding wards. She was a volunteer at Churches United, and Peoples Church in Bemidji, MN, assisting many in need outside of work when needed. She was a beloved caring heart that the community needed and she helped bring a precedent for Beltrami County in outreach services that are still in act to this day.
