Georgianna Mae Whitefeather

Georgianna Mae Whitefeather "Ozaawindibe" Brown Hair, Ogishkimanisi "Kingfisher Clan" 67 years old of Redby, entered the spirit world on June 30, 2026.

Georgianna was born on February 7, 1959 in Red Lake, MN to Leroy Whitefeather and Mary Jane Jones. She attended Red Lake High School, Red Lake Vocational School and the University of Phoenix online.

She wore many different hats and worked a variety of jobs. But she loved her driving jobs the most. From being a School Bus Driver to Medical Transportation Driver and Truck Driver.

Georgianna enjoyed going to casinos, thrifting, rummage sales and traveling long distances. She was well respected elder, always willing to help people. Georgianna held close bonds with family and friends. She loved her family and looked forward to visiting with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Georgianna will be missed by her daughter Leah Whitefeather, her three grandchildren; Michael Jensen, Danielle Nallamekala and Cheyenne Jensen. Two great-grandchildren Raahinya and Aadhyan Nallamekala. Sisters; Jacqueline Whitefeather and Ramona Whitefeather. Special son Thomas Strong and special niece Yvonne Spears; as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son Derrick Strong (Whitefeather), parents, siblings and significant other Dennis Wakanabo (Earth).

A traditional wake will begin at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 2nd, 2026 at the Ponemah Boys and Girls Club and continue until the service at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 4th, 2026. The Spiritual Leader will be Ty Stately. Active casket bearers will be her family. Honorary casketbearers will be her family and friends. Interment will be in the family burial grounds in Ponemah.
