Jacinda Jane Oakgrove

December 11th, 1994 – September 18th, 2025

Our beloved Jacinda “Cinda” passed on to the spirit world on Thursday September 18,  2025 at HCMC in Minneapolis surrounded by family. Jacinda was born to Jillian Oakgrove on December 11, 1994 at Fairview-Riverside Hospital. 

Jacinda was the fifth grandchild of Harlan “Butch” Oakgrove and Sandra “English” McKee. Jacinda was later adopted by her biological Grandfather Harlan “Butch” Oakgrove and was also helped raised by Aunt’s Janelle and Jeanna. Jacinda attended Morris Park, and Anishinabe Academy in Minneapolis and later attended classes trying to get her GED.

After the passing of her grandfather and Aunt she lived with her loving boyfriend and his family. Jacinda had a child together with the love of her life Randy Burris Sr. Their son Little Randy or “Beeman” was her absolute world. Jacinda lost the love of her life Randy on November 18, 2023. Later Jacinda had another child who she named Joshua after her cousin she lost in 2014. 

Having lived in Minneapolis all her life, she worked previously for the Veterans Hospital in Minneapolis and things were very hard for her after losing so many of her family. She coped as best she could but had fallen on hard times. 

Jacinda is survived by her sons Randy Burris Jr. and his grandparents Brenda and Woodrow “Joe” Burris Jr. of Minneapolis, son Joshua Daniel Oakgrove of Minneapolis, her biological mother Jillian Oakgrove of Shakopee, Aunt Jeanna Pierce and her husband Vernon of Fairton, NJ, sister Jerilyn Oakgrove and brother Jerold Oakgrove of Cambridge, her special cousin who was like a sister to her Jocelyn Oakgrove and her daughter Aalayah Wadena of McGregor, Step Grandfather Norman Mckee of Cambridge, cousins Jerome Oakgrove, his girlfriend Aubree Hallin and their son Bentley Oakgrove of Zimmerman, cousins Malarie Kegg and Joseph Pierce of Fairton New Jersey and Jerrith Oakgrove Jr., as well as numerous family and friends.

Those greeting Jacinda in the spirit world are her Grandparents Harlan Oakgrove, Grandmother Sandra Mckee, Aunt Janelle Oakgrove, Uncle Robert McKee, her first love Randy Burris Sr., Cousins Joshua Oakgrove and Jerrith Oakgrove Sr
