Janice Lynn Fairbanks, age 49, of Bemidji, Minnesota, began her journey to the Spirit World on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at her residence. Janice was born on January 9, 1974 to Roy Beaulieu and Barbara Fairbanks.
She graduated from the Bug School in 1993 and worked at Sportsman Pizzeria and as a Personal Care Assistant. She worked at the Fairbanks Café in Red Lake for three years. The last few years she worked at Cedar Lakes Casino. She enjoyed raising her family and being a Great-Aunt to her nieces and nephews.
Janice is survived by her sons Brian Fairbanks, Aaron Fairbanks and Andrew Fairbanks; grandchildren Danielle Fairbanks, Mason Fairbanks and Maddy Fairbanks; brothers Carl Fairbanks Sr, Joey Fairbanks Sr and Gary Wind Sr; sisters Melody Hanners, Amanda Fairbanks and Toni Wind.
She was preceded in death by daughter Rhonda Fairbanks; sisters Rhonda Fairbanks and Brenda Wind; parents Barbara Fairbanks and Roy Beaulieu, paternal grandparents James & Verna (Hanson) Fairbanks, maternal grandparents George & Ida Beaulieu.
Wake will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at the Mission Community Center in Cass Lake, Minnesota, and continue until the service at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 11, 2024 with Father George Ross and Father Bill Butcher. Active Pallbearers will be Joseph Fairbanks, Carl Fairbanks, Bill Beaulieu, Aaron Fairbanks, Gordon Fairbanks and Donald Weise. Honorary Pallbearers will be nieces, nephews and other family members. Burial will be in the spring at Sugar Bush Cemetery.
