Jared Allen Spears

Jared Allen Spears, age 25, began his journey to the spirit world on Monday, December 30, 2024 in Cass Lake, Minnesota.

Jared was born on March 29, 1999 to Ralph and Rosetta (Roberts) Spears in Bemidji, Minnesota. Jared grew up in Ponemah and Red Lake, where he did his schooling. Growing up, he loved to spend time with his father until he passed away. That took a big toll on him, so then he moved to his Grandma Shirley’s and little cousin Ca’trell, where he loved to stay at home and play his games. Jared always had a big heart and was a caring person. His little brother was his world and he would do anything for him. He always made a way to call his mom and little brother to check in with them. He loved to travel to different places. He was talking about going back to school and becoming a chef. He loved cooking and trying new foods. And can’t forget about his baby sister. When she left here on earth, his whole life changed. Now, he’s happy to be with his father and sister. He also loved the time he spent with his niece Alexis and his two nephews, Junior and Jayceon.

Jared is survived by mother: Rosetta (Robert) Spears; brothers: Donte (Gina) Spears Sr and Tracen Beaulieu; grandmothers: Virginia Spears and Shirley Lussier; niece: Alexis Spears; nephews: Donte Spears Jr and Jayceon Spears; aunties: Vicky (Doug) Spears, Sheila Lussier, Deanna Lussier, Leah (Cook) Lussier, Lianne Lussier and Special Auntie Linda Zellar; uncles: Keenan Norris, Collin Lussier, Ralph “Bill” Thunder, Aldon “Boy” Roberts, Nicholas (Tonya) Spears and Chuck White; and cousins: Rhylia and Khylia Spears, Kayla (Robbie) Kingbird, Kaleigha Lussier, Marie Spears and Robyn Lussier.

He is preceded in death by dad: Ralph “Sonny” Spears Jr; sister: Delaney Spears; grandfathers: Allen “Slugger” Roberts Jr and Ralph Spears Sr; great-grandma: Audrey White; girlfriend: Destiny Corbine; aunties: Brenda White, Arlene Spears, Tracy Roberts, Audrey Dawn Lussier and Sandra “Lulu” Roberts; and cousin: Amanda Kingbird.

A wake will begin at 1 PM on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at the New Red Lake Center in Red Lake, Minnesota and continue until the service at 10 AM on Monday, January 6, 2025 with Spiritual Leader Allen Hardy. Active Pallbearers will be Chuck White, Nicholas Spears, Dru Spears Sr, Keenan Norris, Robert Rodriguez and Scott Kingbird. Alternates will be Ca’trell Lussier, Ka’Shawn Lussier, Orville White Sr, Perry White Jr, Nick Schoenborn, Bill Thunder, Aliyas Lussier and Donald “DJ” Prentice. Burial will be at the Family Burial Grounds in Red Lake, Minnesota. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Walker & Hackensack, Minnesota.
