In Loving Memory of Jeffrey Lawrence Miner

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Miner, a cherished son, devoted husband, and loyal friend, who left us unexpectedly on September 3, 2024, at the age of sixty-seven.

Jeffrey was born on June 8, 1957, in Wood River, IL, to John and Maroyln Miner. He graduated from Wood River High School, attended Southern Illinois State University in his younger years and in 2010 decided to complete his education by graduating from Bethel University and going on to earn his master’s in counseling from St. Mary’s University.

Throughout his life Jeffrey had a passion for family, baseball, politics, music and collecting baseball cards and tee-shirts. He was an enthusiastic Cardinal’s fan and was able to attend the Cardinals/Twins game just a week before his death.

 Jeffrey is predeceased by his father, John Miner, sister Johanna Miner, and mother and father in-law Virginia and Don Bowles.

He is survived by and will be deeply missed by the love of his life wife Wende. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, adventures, and countless cherished memories. He will also be missed by bonus children, Kyla (Jack), Cullen (Ashley) and Cooper (Corrina) and the little lights in his life, grandchildren Sonny and Jovie

Jeffrey is also survived by his beloved daughters, Laura and Grace, his mother Marolyn Miner and brother Michael (Tracy), nephews and niece Eric, Scott, Brooke, and their families.

Jeffrey will be dearly missed but never forgotten. His love will forever remain in our hearts.
