Jeremy Richard Auginash "Manidoo-Omashkooz"

Jeremy Richard Auginash, “Manidoo-Omashkooz” (Holy Elk Man), age 38, passed away at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis on Friday, October 9, 2020. 

Jeremy was born March 23, 1982, in Robbinsdale, MN, to Gerald Auginash and Anna Marie Saice. He grew up in the Twin Cities area and attended Hennepin County Community College.  Jeremy also lived in Texas for many years, where he was a Restaurant Manager for Pizza Hut. Jeremy loved golf and fishing and being outdoors, and he had a special love for Anime cartoons. He loved all his nieces and nephews and his cat, Maemae. 

Jeremy will be greatly missed by his mother and father; his brothers Paul Saice, Justin (Renae) Auginash, Jamie (Jennifer) Auginash, Joseph Grandell; his sisters Danielle (Michael) Saice, Michelle Auginash, Kelly Auginash, Amber (Jason) Defoe, Rosa Grandell, and Seneca Auginash; many nieces and nephews; and his special friend Daniel Gonzalez.  Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents Lucille Smith and Richard Auginash and Harold and Alice Saice. 

A wake for Jeremy will begin Friday, October 16, 2020, at 1:00pm at the Redby Center, Redby, Minnesota, and will continue until the service on Saturday, October 17, 2020, at 11:00am.  Casketbearers will be Jason Defoe, Sr., Jason Defoe, Jr., Justin Auginash, Sr., Jamie Auginash, Sr., Michael Holmers, Jordan Saice, and Paul Saice, Jr.  Honorary casketbearers will be Jeremy’s sisters: Michelle, Danielle, Kelly, Amber, Rosa and Seneca; special friend Daniel; all his beloved nieces and nephews; and his family and friends in Pleasanton, Texas.  Interment will follow in the family burial grounds. 

Services are being provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service, Walker, Minnesota.
