Jerry Lee White, Jr.

Jerry Lee White, Jr., age 24, of Redby, MN travelled to the Spirit World on  Wednesday, June 23, 2021.

Jerry was born on December 2, 1996 in Bemidji, MN to Jerry White, Sr. and Vickie Needham.  Jerry made his home in Redby, MN and worked as a black jack dealer at Seven Clans Casino for a time.  He loved playing basketball with his friends, listening to music and going for car rides.  He always spoke his mind and had a great sense of humor.  He enjoyed spending time with family, his girlfriend and her daughter, Tiny, who he thought of as his own.

Jerry is survived by his parents: Jerry (Diane Gottsch) White, Sr. and Vickie Needham; siblings:  Shaniah (Trevor Defoe Sr.) White and Vincent White; special niece, Emelina Stillday; nephews: Justin White-Defoe and Tyrin White-Defoe; his girlfriend, Gloria Jackson and her daughter Melvina “Tiny” Reyes; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends.

Greeting him in the Spirit World are his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Carol White; maternal grandparents: Margaret Needham and Kenneth Bruce; three aunts: Cheryl Strong, Ramona Strong and Kim Needham; as well as several cousins

A traditional wake will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at the Ponemah Boys & Girls Club in Ponemah, MN and continue until the service on Thursday, July 1, 2021.  Active casketbearers will be:  Blaine White, Jr., Roy White, Jr., Darren Strong, Sr., Darren Strong, Jr., Curtis Jourdain, Jr. and Trevor Defoe, Sr..  Honorary casketbearers will be: Emelina Stillday, Justin White-Defoe, Tyrin White-Defoe and Melvina “Tiny” Roseann Reyes.  Burial will be at the White Family Burial Grounds in Ponemah.  Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Walker, MN.
