John L. Whipple

John L. Whipple, age 70, began his journey to the spirit world on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 in Heron Lake, MN. John was born on May 14, 1955 in Cass Lake, MN, to Margaret Whipple and Robert Cross. He will be remembered by many family members and friends.

A traditional wake will begin at 4PM on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the Oak Point Community Center and continue until the service at 10AM on Sunday, June 1, 2025 with Mike Needham as spiritual leader. Active pallbearers will be: Aaron Jones, James Dow, Darrell Kingbird, Elliot Whipple, Seneca Whitefeather, Eric Whitefeather. Honorary pallbearers will be his family and friends. Burial will be at the Googleye Cemetery in Oak Point. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Walker & Hackensack, MN.
