Joleen Antell

Joleen Marie Antell 47, of Minneapolis, MN entered the spirit world on July 24, 2023, at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.

She was born on October 20, 1975, to Cliff Dejon and Dorothy Antell in Minneapolis.   After attending White Earth Community College, Joleen lived and worked in the Fargo and Minneapolis areas most of her life.   She was currently working for Dollar General.   She loved being with family and friends, visiting, and watching crime shows.  Joleen also loved going places with her children.

 Joleen was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy; father, Cliff Dejon, daughter Jasmine and step father James Big Bear Sr.

She is survived by her children: Anthony, Theodore, Jason, Jayden and Dominick Antell, Sarah and Jayme Lyons, Delilah and Amayra Garcia; eight grandchildren: brother Brandon Antell and several nieces and nephews.

 A traditional wake will begin for Joleen on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at 7:00 PM at the White Earth Community Center, Cass Lake, MN and will continue until the traditional funeral service the afternoon of Tuesday, August 1, 2023.  Casketbearers will be Brandon Antell, Anthony Antell, Theodore Lyons, Jason Lyons, Jr., Jaydon Lyons, Domonic Lyons and alternates: Amos Laduke and Neil Laduke. The burial will be in the Morgan Cemetery, Cass Lake, Minnesota.  Arrangements are by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Walker & Hackensack.
