Julius Ray Cloud, age 35, travelled to the spirit world on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, in Minneapolis, MN.
Julius was born at North Country Regional Hospital in Bemidji, MN, on August 19, 1988 to Francine Cloud. He graduated from Red Lake High School and attended auto mechanic school in St. Cloud. He worked for Red Lake Gaming, Red Lake Retail and various construction companies. Julius also volunteered at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation. Julius loved watching and playing sports, especially baseball and football. He was a “Lid” collector and had acquired many hats over the years. Julius was fascinated with sports cars. He had a great sense of humor, loved to make people laugh and enjoyed spending time with family.
Those greeting him in the spirit world are: his mother, Francine Cloud; uncles: Marvin Spears, Robert Sean Cobenais, Clayton Cobenais; cousin, Dana Cobenais; great-grandpa, Roy Cloud, Sr.

A traditional wake will begin at 1PM on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at the Ponemah Boys & Girls Club in Ponemah and continue until the service on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 with Zac Earley as spiritual leader. Active pallbearers will be: Phillip Smith, Jr., Shailese Smith, Lacy Cloud, Bryan Smith, Robert Cobenais, Rory Spears, Emilio Mendoza. Honorary pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will be at the Cloud Family Burial site near Ponemah. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Walker & Hackensack, MN.
