Kaeley Kaye King

Kaeley Kaye King, age 29, of Redby, Minnesota, entered the spirit world on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. She was born on March 8, 1993, in Bemidji, Minnesota, to Renee Fairbanks and Douglas King, Sr.  Kaeley grew up in Redby and attended elementary and middle school in Red Lake. She spent most of her life with her Dad in Redby and later also spent time with her Grandpa Ebb.  She became the mother of three children, Frank Jr., Kaelene and Kaylynn. She worked at the Seven Clans Casino as a slot attendant and also at Red Lake Fisheries.

Kaeley loved to listen to music, go to the casino, do lottery tickets, being with her kids, cooking, going for walks, always helping everyone everywhere she went. She loved to clean, go ice fishing with her dad, and loved her Grandma Gloria’s bread and cinnamon rolls. Kaeley will be remembered for her laugh and her eyes.

Kaeley leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Frank Weise, Jr., and daughters Kaelene and Kaylynn Weise; mother Renee and father Douglas; brothers Douglas King, Jr. and Brandon Fairbanks Sr; aunt Trina Fairbanks; and uncle Curtis Jourdain, Sr.  She was preceded in death by her brother Todd Johns, Sr., sister Jennifer Fairbanks; grandmother Sharon Barrett; grandfather Leonard King; aunt Shelly King; great-grandparents Harry & Viola Fairbanks, Edward & Evelyn Mitchell; and several other aunts and uncles.

A wake for Kaeley will begin Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at 1:00pm at the new Red Lake Center, Red Lake, MN, and will continue until her service on Friday, June 17, 2022, at 11:00am.  Officiating will be Fr. George Ross. Pallbearers caring for Kaeley will be Brandon Fairbanks, Sr., Douglas King, Jr., Joel Jones, Todd Johns, Jr., Justin Donnell, Darren King, Anthony “Bomber” King and Gordon Jones, with alternates Cyrus King and Arlen ‘Oats’ Desjarlait.  Honorary pallbearers will be Kaelene Weise, Kaylynn Weise, Frank Weise Jr., Brandon Fairbanks Jr., Salena King, Stanley Clark, Sara King, Ramona King, Trisha Johns-Brown, Kristen Johns-Brown, Karin King, Janeen Donnell, Kateri Graves, Ellie Beaulieu, Anian Johns, RaSharon King, Kristen “Krunch” Hegstrom, and Alycia Johnson. Burial will follow in the family burial ground in Red Lake.
