Keishaun Rhetta Jourdain

Keishaun Rhetta Jourdain, “Migizii Ikwe” Eagle Woman, from the Bear Clan, age 28, began her journey to the spirit world on Monday, August 25, 2025 in Red Lake, MN.

Keishaun was born on July 22, 1997 to Cora Rosebear and Gerald Jourdain in Bemidji, MN.  Keishaun graduated from Riverside Oklahoma. She started out working at the Seven Clans Casinos, then worked  at the Red Lake Group Home and Housing. She was employed at the Red Lake Trading Post at the time of her death. Keishaun liked gaming, animals and hanging out with her friends. Keishaun had shared her birthday with her cousin, Robert Jourdain. Keishaun had won a baby contest when she was tiny.

Keishaun is survived by her parents: Cora Rosebear, Gerald Jourdain; brothers: Chad Rosebear, Daris (Shauna) Rosebear, Maynard Cloud Jr, Makye and Royal Jourdain, all of Red Lake; sisters: Geralynn Jourdain and Harleigh Jourdain, both of Red Lake; grandparents: Arlan Jourdain Sr of Red Lake, Karen May of Red Lake, David (Andrea) Rosebear of Ponemah; aunts and uncles: AJ (Dee) Jourdain of Red Lake, Wesley Jourdain, Dan Jourdain, Jeff (Amanda) Jourdain of Redby, David Rosebear Jr, Dell Marie Littlewind, Dawn Marie Rosebear and Denise Seki, all of Ponemah, Tasha Benais, Lacey Benais and Arlene Benais, all of Red Lake; nephew: Davis Rosebear Jr of Red Lake; nieces: Chloe and Madison Rosebear of Red Lake, Journee Rosebear of Bemidji, Luciana Chaboyea of Red Lake; special friend: Quinten Thompson.

She is preceded in death by her brother: Davis Rosebear Sr; grandma: Elvira “Tunia” Morgan; great-grandparents: Melinda and Herbert May, Loretta Morgan; uncles: Bill May, Herb May; aunts: Marilyn, Roxanne and Gloria May.

A wake will begin at 11AM on Monday, September 1, 2025 at the Old Red Lake Center and will continue until the funeral at 10 AM on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 with Spiritual Leaders Zac Earley and Ty Stately. Active Pallbearers will be Jeff Jourdain, AJ Jourdain, Makye Jourdain, Jordan Kingbird, Dallas Martin, Barry Oakgrove Jr, Vincent May, Ethan May, Cedrick Martin, Charlie May, Trevor Lussier, Sedrick White, Quinten Thompson.
