Kevin Lee Shabaiash Jr.

Kevin Lee Shabaiash Jr,. 21 months, and his mother Jackie Ann Defoe, passed away at their home in Cloquet on Saturday, March 7, 2020.

Kevin was born in Duluth on June 18, 2018 to Jackie Ann Defoe and Kevin Shabaiash Sr. This little man was adored by his parents, his brother and sister, and his extended family.

Kevin is survived by his father Kevin Shabaiash Sr.; brother Jayden and sister Jamie; Grandfather Garrett “Umtiz” Defoe; Grandmother Tammy Suomi; many uncles, aunts and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents Joann Agatha Shabaiash and Dennis Gerald Shabaiash; and Uncle Russell Diver.

Both Jackie and Kevin will be greatly missed by their family and friends and the Fond du Lac community.

A traditional wake for both Jackie and Kevin will begin at 6:00pm on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at the Sawyer Center, Sawyer, Minnesota. The wake will continue until the service on Sunday, March 15, 2002, at 11:00am.  Burial will be at Saints Mary and Joseph Cemetery, Sawyer, Minnesota.
